Julio Amaro's Kinoptic Art is a technique achieved by combining two images in such
a way that when looked at from a right or left angle, two different paintings can be observed. Although
the paintings do not move, they create an optical effect of motion. This technique has been used in
ancient times in the Persian Empire, in Medieval Germany, in the American Civil War prints of Currier
and Ives, and in today's world by artists such as Julio Amaro. His original paintings use acrylic colors
on canvas. His limited edition prints use the Giclee process with water based ink on White Arches
watercolor paper. Art lovers around the world are delighted by Amaro's artistry.
